Final Report (Abbreviated Version)

Requested by Congress in P.L. 110-161, this final report examines assessments made by the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office regarding the performance of advanced spectroscopic portals -- the next generation of radiation detectors for cargo screening.

This briefing was held for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The final report was publicly released on January 13, 2011 and can be found on the Web site of the National Academies Press (NAP). The interim report can be found on the NAP site as well.
