Professor Barry Mendelow is internationally known for his work in haematology. He is currently at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, where he has worked and lived for 30 years, except for a post-doctoral fellowship at theWeizmann Institute of Science in Germany in 1980.
