Dr. Jacob Olongida Ole Miaron

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries

Dr. Miaron is currently secretary in the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries in Kenya. He previously was chairman of the Department of Veterinary Physiology at the University of Nairobi. He is a member in Kenya national Academy of sciences, International Association for the study of pain(Kenya chapter), Kenya physiological Society, Kenya Veterinary Association. He has contributed to international publications and co-authored a book "Ethnoveterinary Practices in East Africa."
