Susanne A. Stoiber Institute of Medicine Executive Officer

Stoiber was name the Executive Officer of the Institute of Medicine in 1998. Previously she has served in senior positions at IOM and at the National Institutes of Health. She was appointed as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health--Planning and Evaluation from 1979 to 1995; Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in 1996; and as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, Program Systems in 1997.

She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado, and a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics.
