The Committee on the Public Health Dimensions of Cognitive Aging held a public workshop on April 10 and 11 at the National Academy of Sciences Building in Washington, DC.  

There were 3 panels on April 10 covering the definition of cognitive aging, the cognitive trajectory of aging, and the epidemiology and surveillance efforts of cognition in the United States. An additional panel on some of the risk factors for cognitive decline was held the morning of April 11.
