We are pleased to share that the public session for the first meeting of the Committee for the “Evaluation of Human Resources for Health (HRH) in the Republic of Rwanda Under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)” has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 23, 2018, from 8:45 AM until 10:45 AM EST, in Washington, DC.

This committee has been tasked by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to evaluate and document PEPFAR investments in the Rwanda HRH program. Through the course of the evaluation, the committee will meet several times to examine the impact of CDC PEPFAR investments on HRH and HIV-related outcomes. The public session is one of the many processes that the committee will use to gather information and assemble evidence that members will examine and discuss in the course of making the committee’s findings, conclusions, and recommendations. The focus of this first session is for the committee to clarify the scope of the charge with the study sponsor and initiate the process of gathering relevant information about the Rwanda HRH program.

This session will be accessible to members of the public via Zoom. Please register to receive an email with the instructions to join remotely.
