Dietary Reference Intakes: Framing the Next Generation is the topic of a day-long symposium that was held on December 8, 2004 at the National Academy of Sciences Auditorium, 2100 C Street, NW, Washington, DC. 

The symposium, sponsored by the Food and Nutrition Board, considered mechanisms and criteria for deciding when to review a DRI.  Vitamin D was discussed as a case study.
