Danielle Greenberg, Ph.D., FACN, is senior director Global R&D, and senior fellow in Nutrition Sciences at PepsiCo Incorporated. At PepsiCo she is responsible for providing scientific expertise on issues concerning nutrition and health. Dr. Greenberg joined PepsiCo as part of the Public Affairs and Science and Regulatory Affairs groups and was responsible for communications both internally and externally in the areas of nutrition and scientific affairs. Prior to joining PepsiCo she was an academic researcher and was an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College. Her area of research was on the control of food intake with specific focuses on how dietary fats lead to satiety, the role of fat intake in obesity, how brain-gut peptides work in hunger and fullness, and the physiological processes mediating food intake. Dr. Greenberg is a fellow of the American College of Nutrition and a fellow of The Obesity Society. She received a Ph.D. in biological psychology from The City University of New York.
