Paul Grimwood is chairman of Nestlé’s operations in the U.S. and chief executive officer of Nestlé USA, which includes Nestlé Baking, Nestlé Beverage, Nestlé Confections & Snacks, Nestlé International Brands Division, Nestlé Prepared Foods, Nestlé Pizza and Nestlé Dreyer’s Ice Cream. Mr. Grimwood started his career at Mars, where he held a variety of commercial roles in sales, marketing and export culminating as trading director. He then spent four years at Highland Distillers as Managing Director U.K. & Ireland. Mr. Grimwood joined Nestlé in 2001 as regional director for Purina Petcare. He then took on the role of vice president for operations for Northern Europe with Nestlé S.A. based in Switzerland. In 2006 Mr. Grimwood became managing director for Nestlé Confectionery (U.K.). He was appointed chief executive of Nestlé U.K. and Ireland in January 2009 and one year later also took on the role of chairman. In the U.K., Mr. Grimwood was deputy president of the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) and also chair of the FDF’s Competitiveness Steering Committee. He co-chaired the Agri-Food and Drink Export Forum with Food Minister Jim Paice and was a member of the Institute of Grocery Distribution’s Policy Issues Council. Mr. Grimwood was appointed to his current position at Nestlé USA in October 2012. In the U.S., he is a member of the Executive Board of the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) and chairs the GMA sub-committee on sodium. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Huddersfield University.
