On March 22, 2017, the Committee on Accelerating Progress to Reduce Alcohol-Impaired Driving Fatalities held its second meeting at the Keck Center. The meeting began at  9:45 am and adjourned at  4:10 pm EST. During this time the committee heard from speakers on the following subjects relevant to the statement of task:

  • Policies and Systems Change;
  • The Alcohol Environment and Behaviors;
  • Stakeholder Activities
  • Surveillance Systems, Approaches, and Strategies
  • Social Movements

The Keck Center is located in Washington, DC at 500 Fifth St. NW. If you are driving to the Keck Center, limited parking is available in the Keck parking garage, which is located at the “back” of the building, right next to the fire station. Input “550 Sixth St. NW” in your GPS to be directed there. If you are taking the metro the Keck Center is located a block and a half away from the Judiciary Square Metro stop on the red line, and two blocks away from the Gallery Place Chinatown Metro stop on the Green, Yellow, and Red lines.
