BP Provides the National Institutes of Health with $10 Million for Research on Oil Spill Health Effects

On September 7, 2010, BP announced it would provide $10 million to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to expedite work on the research priorities identified at the IOM’s workshop, “Assessing the Human Health Effects of the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill.”
