Institute of Medicine Receives $2 Million Gift to Strengthen Its Mission

The IOM has received a $2 million gift to establish the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fund and create an endowed executive officer position. IOM's current executive officer, Judy A. Salerno, has been named the first individual to hold the position.
