On June 14, 2018, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Roundtable on Population Health Improvement hosted the School Success: An Opportunity for Population Health workshop in Oakland, California, at The California Endowment’s Oakland Conference Center. This workshop proceedings in brief features the presentations and discussions describing the relationship between the health and education sectors and shares examples of public health interventions and activities in schools that support school success and are potential opportunities for population health action.
