Keck Genomics Conference Spurs Research

November 14 -- Top researchers gathered in Irvine, Calif., at the third annual National Academies Keck Futures Initiative conference to design interdisciplinary approaches for applying genomics to the treatment and control of infectious disease. To further encourage such research, the Academies announced the availability of $1 million in seed grants to be awarded on a competitive basis to conference participants.
