Committee Named to Update Stem Cell Research Guidelines

May 2 -- A committee has been appointed to monitor and revise voluntary guidelines on the conduct of human embryonic stem cell research. In periodic reports, the committee will update voluntary guidelines issued last year by the National Research Council and Institute of Medicine. Researchers and others are encouraged to comment on the usefulness of these guidelines and whether they need to be updated.
