Report Identifies Best Ways to Increase Organ Donation

May 2 -- After examining a wide range of proposals to increase rates of organ donation, a new report from the Institute of Medicine urges greater efforts to educate the public about the benefits of organ donation and to boost opportunities for people to record their decisions to donate. Additional efforts to sustain quality improvements in the donation system are also needed.
