NAE Annual Meeting Begins This Weekend

October 13 -- "Engineering for the Threat of Natural Disaster" is the topic of a half-day public symposium at this year's annual meeting of the National Academy of Engineering. The meeting, which begins Sunday, Oct. 15, also includes the induction of new NAE members, the presentation of the 2006 Founders and Bueche awards, the Gordon Prize Recipient Lecture, and the Lillian M. Gilbreth Lectures by Young Engineers.
