NAS Council Supports Access for Palestinian Scientists and Students

February 14 -- In a statement, the governing council of the National Academy of Sciences applauded recent efforts to relax stringent restrictions placed on Palestinian students and scientists who seek to study in Israel and the West Bank. The council stressed the continuing importance of international cooperation in science as an investment in peace.
