Big Picture of Klamath Basin Needed for Research, Management

November 28 -- Although two recent studies attempt to better understand the Klamath River basin in Oregon and California, they would be more useful to decision makers if a comprehensive analysis of the basin were conducted to identify all research and management needs, says a new report from the National Research Council. The studies examined historical flows in the basin and the relationship of flows to fish habitat.
