Leader in Bioengineering and Influential Policy Adviser to Receive Honors From NAE

October 3, 2008 -- The National Academy of Engineering announced the winners of its awards to individuals who have had extraordinary impacts on the engineering profession. The NAE Founders Award will be given to Robert M. Nerem for important contributions to the field of bioengineering. G. Wayne Clough will receive the Arthur M. Bueche Award for his leadership in science, technology, and engineering policy. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Oct. 5 during NAE's annual meeting.
