Julie Englund Appointed Chief Financial Officer

February 5, 2009 -- Julie Englund will be the new Chief Financial Officer of the National Academy of Sciences and National Research Council. Englund is currently the treasurer and vice president for finance at the Catholic University of America, and brings considerable experience in not-for-profit institutions, higher education, and government. She joins the Academies on March 30.
