Guidelines for Embryonic Stem Cell Research Updated

May 26, 2010 -- The National Research Council and Institute of Medicine today released amended voluntary guidelines for the responsible and ethical conduct of research using human embryonic stem cells (hES). These guidelines take into account the expanded role of the National Institutes of Health in overseeing hES research and incorporate references to the NIH guidelines issued in 2009.‬
