Robert Langer and Anita Jones to Receive Honors From NAE

October 1, 2010 -- The National Academy of Engineering announced the winners of two awards it presents to individuals who have had an extraordinary impact on the engineering profession. The NAE Founders Award will be given to Robert Langer, who has made contributions in the areas of drug delivery and tissue engineering. Anita Jones will receive the Arthur M. Bueche Award for leadership in the development of science and technology policy. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Oct. 3.
