Symposium: Scientific Data for Evidence Based Policy and Decision Making

September 25, 2009 -- One of the stated priorities of the Obama administration is to use scientific data to inform policy. On Thursday the National Research Council held a public symposium at which officials from FDA, EPA and other agencies discussed ways to implement this priority in areas such as health and the environment.
