Symposium: Scientific Data for Evidence Based Policy and Decision Making

One of the stated priorities of the Obama administration is to use scientific data to inform policy. On Thursday the National Research Council held a public symposium at which officials from FDA, EPA and other agencies discussed ways to implement this priority in areas such as health and the environment.
