May 13, 2010 -- The InterAcademy Council (IAC), an organization of the world’s science academies, convened its first committee meeting to review the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) today in Amsterdam. Streaming audio of scheduled public presentations are available on the IAC website. They include remarks by IPCC Chair Rajendra K. Pachauri; Renate Christ, secretary of the IPCC; Janos Pasztor, director of the U.N. Secretary-General’s Climate Change Support Team; and Achim Steiner, executive director of the United Nations Environment Programme.
