Eugenie Scott Receives Public Welfare Medal Print This
April 23, 2010 -- During a ceremony at the annual meeting of the National Academy of Sciences, Eugenie Scott was honored "for championing the teaching of evolution in the United States and for providing leadership to the National Center for Science Education." NAS also honored 16 other individuals for their outstanding scientific achievements.
