TRB Webinar: Guide for transportation performance management and data

March 30, 2020

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM (EDT)

Past

Transportation Performance Management (TPM) provides a way to make visible progress in meeting agency objectives. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, March 30 that presented guidance for making effective use of data for Transportation Performance Management (TPM). The presenters showcased how TPM can contribute to progress in reducing fatalities, improving asset condition, eliminating bottlenecks, and speeding up project delivery. They covered the full data life-cycle, from understanding data needs to using data to drive decision making. The webinar discussed the careful attention that needs to be applied to assessing data and implementation of proven data management practices.

This webinar draws on research from NCHRP Research Report 920: Management and Use of Data for Transportation Performance Management: Guide for Practitioners.

The slides and a recording of the webinar are available.
