TRB Webinar: Greener in Many Ways: Environmentally Sustainable Funding and Financing

April 22, 2020

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (EDT)

Past

Environmental sustainability and transportation funding/financing intersect in more than one way. Approaches that encourage transportation patterns and infrastructure investment may also protect the environment and promote sustainability and resiliency simultaneously. TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, April 22 that addressed these intersections in federal surface transportation authorization, and realignment of state transportation spending. Presenters also discussed a multi-state transportation climate initiative, and ratings agency perspectives.
The webinar is based on lectern session at the 2020 TRB Annual Meeting for practitioners who were unable to attend in person. It was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Revenue and Finance.
The webinar slides and a recording are available.
