Past
Pavement warranties have been common in the United States at various points in time, and while there is no national pavement warranty standard, agencies have developed their own specifications with varying criteria. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern that discussed practices with the use of performance-based pavement warranties for new construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of both asphalt and concrete pavements. The presenter discussed potential implementations or expansions of the use of performance-based warranties.
This webinar draws on research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Synthesis Report 553: Performance-Based Pavement Warranty Practices.
