TRB Webinar: Finding the Path - Messaging Before, During, and After Weather Events

October 28, 2020

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (EDT)

Past

Extreme weather events can have significant impacts on the safety, mobility, and productivity of road users and transportation infrastructure. TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 PM Eastern that discussed Pathfinder, a collaborative strategy for proactive transportation asset management ahead, during, and following adverse weather events. Pathfinder encourages transportation agencies, National Weather Service, and weather service contractors to share and translate weather forecasts and road conditions into consistent transportation impact messaging. Presenters discussed how the service helps their agencies fare during adverse weather events.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Transportation Asset Management.
