TRB Webinar: Are We All in the Same Boat? Involving Communities in Coastal Resilience

Managing coastal infrastructure presents a multitude of challenges, including effects from aging infrastructure and excessive flooding. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 PM Eastern that explored methods for improving coastal resilience. Presenters discussed how to plan for resilience in the transportation network by collaborating with agencies, funding sources, and communities. They identified how to elevate environmental awareness as well as how to encourage community involvement in transportation resilience.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Technical Committee on Environmental Analysis and Ecology.
