This study will explore veteran’s military service exposure to toxic substances and potential mental health conditions. The conditions under scrutiny encompass posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, episodes of psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, chronic multi-symptom illness, traumatic brain injury, neurocognitive disorders (like dementia), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and suicide attempts and deaths by suicide.
