The National Academies’ Forum on Drug Discovery, Development, and Translation will host a public workshop on on the opportunities and practical considerations for engaging community-based practices in clinical trials. The workshop will examine evidence generation, barriers to participation, workforce and partnership needs, and strategies to improve the relevance, efficiency, and person-centeredness of clinical research in real-world settings.
