This workshop explored relevant issues related to developing a cultural, legal, and behavioral framework of collaboration that enables biospecimen and data sharing in order to promote genomic-based drug or product development. The goal of the workshop was to highlight the critical factors that are necessary for successful collaboration, what lessons can be learned from existing collaborations, and what challenges stand in the way of collaboration.
