On March 30, the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), American Public Health Association (APHA), and the Committee on Human Rights (CHR) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine held a discussion of the impacts of violent conflict on public health and health care and strategies to protect frontline workers, ensure access to routine and emergency medical care, and maintain crucial public health infrastructure.
