Interest in driverless vehicles, including low-speed automated vehicles (LSAVs), continues to expand globally and in the United States. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m. Eastern that explored the expansion of LSAVs. Presenters discussed mobility opportunities of LSAVs and explained how the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has affected their deployment. They also highlighted a case study from a campus pilot in Arlington, Texas.

The webinar features research from TCRP Report 220: Low-Speed Automated Vehicles (LSAVs) in Public Transportation.
