Drawing on the experience of practitioners and stakeholders in health and nonhealth fields, the Institute of Medicine's Roundtable on Population Health Improvement fosters interdisciplinary dialogue about factors and actions needed to improve the nation's health. On February 5, 2015, the roundtable held a workshop in Washington, DC, titled "Opportunities at the Interface of Health Care and Public Health." The event focused on how collaboration can facilitate conversation and action to achieve more meaningful population health solutions.
