There is a small visitor lot off of 21st Street, but currently due to construction, it can only be accessed via Virginia Avenue. The Constitution Avenue intersection is closed for northbound travel. 

Use the following address in GPS:  256 21st Street NW. 

• Take the Orange or Blue Line to the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro stop. 

• Turn right when you exit the station. 

• Walk south down 23rd Street, NW, for approximately 7 blocks. 

• Turn left onto C Street, NW (after the State Department). 

• Cross 22nd Street. 

• The main entrance is in the front of the building (2101 Constitution Avenue). Please note this entrance is currently closed to the public. Visitors with an appointment for a specific meeting or purpose will be allowed entry via the C Street entrance. 

• A secondary entrance is located at 2100 C Street. 

Entrance to the building’s parking garage is in the rear of the building on 6th Street. When entering, be ready to tell the guard the name of the meeting you are attending.  

• Take Metro’s Green or Yellow Line to the Gallery Place-Chinatown station.

• Exit the station by following signs to 7th and F Streets/Arena.

• Turn left and walk east on F Street, NW, 2 blocks past the Capital One Arena.

• Turn right on to Fifth Street, NW.

• Walk past the fire station parking lot. The next building on your right will be 500 Fifth Street, NW. 

• Take Metro’s Red Line to the Judiciary Square station.

• Exit the station by following signs to the Building Museum (F Street) exit, between 4th and 5th Streets, NW.

• Turn left and walk west on F Street, NW.

• Cross Fifth Street, NW, and turn left.

• Walk past the fire station parking lot. The next building on your right will be 500 Fifth Street, NW.
