TRB Webinar: Senior Leadership’s Role in Embedding Transportation Resilience

May 6, 2021

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM (EDT)

Past

It is crucial that executive management and emergency response planners at state transportation agencies (DOTs) work together. TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that provided guidance for DOT senior executives about how to embed resilience into transportation planning. Presenters shared ways they have minimized the impact of and avoided potential disruptions. They discussed implications and dimensions of resilience in transportation agencies and explain how to incorporate these approaches within an agency.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Passenger Intermodal Facilities. It also refers to NCHRP Research Report 525: A Guide to Emergency Response Planning at State Transportation Agencies.

A related webinar occurred on May 26, TRB Webinar: Enhancing the Capacity for Transportation System Resilience.
