The Board of Science Education of The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will plan and host a public workshop that explores how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the K-12 teacher workforce. This workshop will address various topics including new challenges teachers face, what teachers need to effectively instruct their students during and after the pandemic, and potential vulnerabilities of the teacher workforce.
