Description
Ad hoc committees will guide the organization of up to four US-Iran workshops in third countries during 2019 and 2020, with specialists from the host countries also participating. Possible topic areas include water conservation, climate-adaptation, stomach cancer and dust-pollution. These topics were being discussed by American and Iranian colleagues when the program was temporarily halted. Participants in each workshop will explore recent research and related activities in the United States, Iran, and other countries; successful applications of modern technologies; and opportunities for future cooperation in the topic area that was the focus of the workshop and/or in closely related areas. A Workshop Proceedings in Brief will be issued at the completion of each workshop.
