The Office of Congressional and Government Affairs (OCGA) is the principal liaison office between the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and Capitol Hill.
Many enacted laws contain studies or other activities for the National Academies to conduct, or reference findings and recommendations from previous reports. The relevant text of recent laws is available below, with links to completed reports and in-progress projects that originated in congressional legislation. For questions about legislative language or reports earlier than 2015, please contact our office.
