Howard B. Rosen Named NAE Executive Officer

The National Academy of Engineering announced today that Howard (“Howie”) B. Rosen will become its next executive officer, effective Aug. 24, 2026. Rosen was selected through an open search process that identified multiple well-qualified candidates for the role. He stood out for his outstanding contributions to engineering and his extensive leadership experience, including service to the Academy on its council and as home secretary.
