This new report, from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine reviews and assesses programs and services available to support children with disabilities and their families. The report describes characteristics that contribute to the effectiveness of these programs, identifies gaps and limitations, and provides conclusions that can inform future policy, practice, and research to improve the health outcomes for children with disabilities, including those who receive Social Security Income benefits.
