Clinical Preventive Services for Addressing Cardiovascular Disease Risk to Reduce Pregnancy-related Deaths Among Women

In progress

This study aims to fill the gaps in what health services and screenings are needed to prevent cardiovascular disease and related risk factors for women of reproductive age, during pregnancy, and post-partum. Other key considerations are the timing of providing these services and when the services/screenings should be applied to women at different life stages. The study will also address how HRSA programs can reduce barriers to obtaining these services and identify promising research to close the identified evidence gaps in recommended services and screenings for cardiovascular disease among women.
