Are you considering the use of dielectric profiling systems (DPS) and paver mounted thermal profiling (PMTP) technologies for real-time quality management? TRB will host a webinar on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that addressed how DPS and PMTP can advance pavement quality measurement from limited random post-construction measurements to near-continuous measurements shortly after construction. Presenters shared the benefits of using these technologies for improved paving operations that produce resilient and sustainable pavements. Presenters also guided a discussion on effective implementation of these technologies.
This webinar is sponsored by TRB’s Standing Technical Committees on Asphalt Pavement Construction and Rehabilitation, Quality Assurance Management, Production and Use of Asphalt, and Pavement Management Systems.
The slides are linked in the meeting materials. View the recorded webinar below.
Webinar agenda and presenters
Overview of DPS and PMTP technologies – Curt Turgeon, Minnesota Department of Transportation
DPS and PMPT for performance, sustainability, and safety – Craig Landefeld, Ohio Department of Transportation
