Roundtable on Biomedical Engineering Materials and Applications
With a select and balanced membership of experts from government, industry, and academia, BEMA functions as a forum focused on the successful navigation of the technical, regulatory, and manufacturing elements that impact product development. Formal meetings are designed to promote candid discussion on issues relevant to biomedical applications of materials, thereby allowing members and other participants to gain insights and information, as well as engage with leaders in the field. As a National Academies roundtable, BEMA is a convening mechanism and does not provide advice or recommendations on any specific issue or policy pending before any government agency.
