Incorporating freight-efficient policies into land-use planning ensures commercial supply chains function properly, keeping quality of life in urban and metropolitan areas high. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that provided actionable guidance on how to integrate freight land-use policy and management with transportation efforts to foster efficient land uses. Presenters defined freight efficient land uses, share insight through real-life examples, present resources that can support decision-makers, and provide an overview of transportation and land-use initiatives.
