U.S. - Egypt Innovation Activities
The U.S. - Egypt Science and Technology Joint Fund supports innovation ecosystem development in Egypt. Activities are designed to strengthen research-based entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and commercialization across Egyptian institutions.
On March 26, 2025, USAID informed the National Academy of Sciences that it should terminate all work on this activity. U.S. implementation of this activity has ended and any inquiries related to Egyptian activities under this program should be directed to the Egyptian Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (stdf.eg).
