A planning committee will organize a workshop series to explore opportunities, issues, and concerns with preparing health professionals to maximize the potential of AI to improve the process of HPE. Topics may include:
- Applying AI for accelerating effective IPE and collaborative practice;
- Exploring challenges and opportunities in developing, validating, implementing, and monitoring the use of AI and machine learning algorithms in HPE;
- Understanding potential risks and benefits of AI for improving the educational process;
- Investigating the barriers and facilitators to integrating AI into clinical education; and
- Engaging relevant stakeholders for responsible AI implementation from foundational HPE to continuing education development.
